Can't believe there are people on here that watch The Voice

I was playing Kerbal Space Program on Saturday and The Voice was on in the background. I looked over and saw someone woodenly bopping on stage singing woefully with The Script and wondered if they'd just plucked her from the audience for a laugh.

She won.

(Turns out she's almost blind so I felt a bit bad about the shocking dance moves but still......)

I caught a bit of her singing when I was looking for something to watch on Sky+. What can I say... Saturday night viewing - same rubbish whether it's BBC or ITV.

Same for all the channels they are saving their budgets for winter, and Christmas.

ITV shows the same rubbish talent shows all year round. I enjoy Strictly during the winter though. At least they're not trying to line Cowell's coffers.

I barely watch ITV. I only watch Doc Martin, otherwise I would not watch it at all. I am not the demographic that they are after. Also reality and talent shows are really cheap to make. I find that I am watching ITV3 more than the other ITV channels.

I've long stopped "actively" watching TV. I download episodes of shows like The Big Bang Theory. I normally have the TV on Dave, BBC News or E4/+1.

Yes I did.
Complex character, great body of work and a million times better than me (at taking photographs). Sad story though.

It seems it would make a reasonable program to make, but the nudity seems simply to titivate the audience. It is unnecessary. The nudity aspect might make it more extreme in terms of survival.

I may iPlayer it.
Not because I want a sad story, but because I just don't get the fuss that surrounds their work.
I do feel like I'm missing something that everyone else gets about them.
