Gizmodo is redirecting me to Facebook. (8+/
Going to google, searching for Gizmodo and then clicking the link also does the same.

Speaking of Facebook, I could be doing without all the annoying email photo notifications from people I know who are on FB (I'm not) - seems to be a new thing they've been asked and just blindly clicked 'yes' to

It is a new "feature", and it's not welcome. It seems some 'Bookers blindly click it and add their email password, and lo! Entire address books are spammed with "friend" messages.

I am ultra selective of who is added to my Facebook friends. I have deleted people who try to add me. And routinely refuse to accept friend status.

Big Dave would agree with me here. It's part of a global conspiracy by the CIA. It's to prepare us for the World Government, and so they can harvest all our information.

Whether it is a conspiracy or not I like my worlds compartmentalised. Some of my friends would definitely not get on with some of the others so no point putting them all together on a web page to start arguing. :D

I've read that somewhere. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. It's perfect for them and most people are too "clever" to believe it.

I ate at McD's about 4 times a week for maybe 4 years because of a work policy which meant I got it for free. I gained 4 stone.

That was over 10 years ago, and I've never lost the weight. That's a stone a year from eating 4 big mac meals with diet coke a week instead of my usual sandwiches.

Prior to that policy I'd only ever been into one twice, both times with a feeling of great shame. The first time was in 1985 and I just had fries. I was horrified at how greasy and expensive they were. All I wanted was a nice sandwich, but it was an organised excursion and it was supposed to be a "treat". The second time was 1989 and equally unpleasant. My friend made me swear never to reveal our dirty secret to anyone, but we were hungry and they were open.

It's weird how addictive they are. During those few years I used to seriously crave them. Before or since, the idea makes me wretch.

I think that in america they have seriously upped their game in terms of healthy options. "Supersize Me" hit McDonalds very hard and so they decided to clean up the range in the US at least. While they can be nice I prefer the Burgerking baps. I very rarely have one it must be longer than four years since I had one, and that was only because a friend wanted to eat there.
