This is a topic of no actual importance to anyone, it's not significant, or logical in my view - just because you use Google and Facebook doesn't mean the rest of the internet is suddenly unusable, anyway nothing lasts forever, the popularity of websites and applications will wax and wane just as any other fashion trend.

I do hope that the regulator will fine them both significantly for their offences. So at least others are deterred.
