I'm on the hunt for a new BB provider as well, getting gradually more and more hacked off with Talktalk, who apparently cannot find their respective arses even with a map and compass.

A week of ringing back and forth over our stagginer 14Kb/s ADSL line (no, not a typo) and it wasn't until we got a third line engineer entirely by fluke that anything got sorted.

I'd suggest Zen as they definitely know their @arse from their elbow. You do however pay more for the service and need a BT line (so you may have to pay the BT rip-off reconnection fee of £150 if you're on LLU).

I was going to avoid any capped services, I am happy to cut back during peak hours but a 12 hour peak period is ridiculous. That is my main objection to VM cable.
