I live next to a mission factory, as in a church group that churns out missionaries. So many people under one roof probably contravenes council regulations, but about 5 of the lads who live there cleared the pavement for 5 houses either side of theirs, and then a couple more for the elderly and disabled further up the road. What I don't understand is why none of the girls did any of the work. Bloody sexists regardless of their community goodwill.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I had TalkTalk at the door the other day and I didn't lose my temper once. Nor did I tell him to firk off or slam the door in his stupid, smug, super-punchable face; despite how frikkin annoying his tone was. I just politely told him I didn't need their services.
I must have been in a really good mood, coz I frikkin hate door-to-door salesmen.

Very good of you. I'll bet you're watching every second tick by though.

It would not have made such an interesting video if there was no one screaming in the car.

Any more and there'd be patient safety compromise issues (not that they weren't already in danger).

When I was flying from Stansted the other day I found someone's wallet and passport in the main part of the terminal. I took them over to the nearest person in uniform and asked where they should be handed in, only to find the owner was standing right next to the staff member. A short time later I joined the queue to board at the gate and then felt something brush against my leg. I looked around and saw a bloke lying on the ground with claret pouring from his lip. We provided care until more appropriate staff came along and then boarded quickly before Ryanair could charge us extra for providing assistance. The guy was very, very drunk and reeking of alcohol, his missus told staff when asked that they had only drunk one glass of wine each. Yeah right, not to mention that it was 06:50.
