Right folks, at some point in the next 3-4hrs I shall embark upon a cross-country voyage. I'm gonna stay at JJ's and then have my all day interview tomorrow. My suit is ready, I'm packed and just putting the finishing touches to my paperwork and prep. I even shaved my beard! Please could I ask you guys for some positivity and good vibes for the journey and tomorrow? Thank you.

Good luck old fruit!

I thought I'd let folks know that he made it to Luton in plenty of time, having survived the long drive up and an evening with me

I'm guessing he's now either still driving home, or passed out from exhaustion!

As often happens when I have company, my culinary skills rather let me down. Here's a picture of the delicious salami and bacon pie I was planning to make yesterday:

What we actually had was completely cremated frozen pizza, because I was disorganised and left oven up too high

I GOT THE FRACKING GIG! :D

Thanks to JJ for being a total legend! The pizza wasn't as bad as he makes out and he's a very hospitable chap. I was indeed passed out last night after a 6hr drive home including some delightful traffic near the smoke, (why anyone would want to do that everyday is completely beyond me) and then had my MOT first thing this morning. So still knackered. Although my baby passed with flying colours again :)

Thanks to everybody else in the thread who sent me vibes. You're all awesome.
