There also needs to be a better description/mission statement of what exactly x404.co.uk is. This place is almost 2. We should move on.

Bah. My nephew's nearly two, he doesn't have a mission statement beyond 'eat chocolate buttons and try not to poo in my pants'. Jon

This is a serious question. I have my serious face on. What to? I looked for a "mission statement" of some kind on the homepage. I thought there was one before, but although it's a very functional layout it doesn't say anything about what this site is for. I personally use this place as somewhere to keep in touch with people I consider friends, some for many years. However, that is looking backwards. Looking forwards, what does 404 want to become? Yet Another Techno-geek site? (there must be a good acronym in there somewhere...) An exclusive private members club where only friends' friends are invited via Fakebook? A place for all the lost and disenfranchised of the interwebs? I did really love one of the tags though: "Douglas Adams asylum mad crazy Barking Dagenham" - I'm pretty sure that was Heather's responsibility, and I'd be happy with that as a mission statement any day

How does it look now? Not the most automated way to do it but fairly painless for a few articles. I can tab off in to sub sections for other bits if needed

x404 is a fort made of Twiglets where unlimited pie is served.

That looks cool. Make the 'From our site' tab the landing page and that'd look mighty fine indeed. Mission statement'll be with you tomorrow. Mark
