Innit.

Not that I'd advocate blowing up the Tamar bridge or anything. Nationality is of little importance to me, beyond the rights I'm fortunate to be afforded, compared with some poorer countries.

I put English, although my nationality is not something I generally think about for more than 5 seconds at a time.

British by place of birth but half Belgian by parent's nationality.

English is an awful word and I would only use it to describe language not nationality.

Same here. Not particularly nationalistic in any way. Just adapt to where I am.

I'll see your half Belgian and raise you half Maltese, half Greek-Cypriot by parents' nationalities.

Did you select "Pie" then or is a pasty not a sub-group of pie?

My logic entirely

Depends where you buy it, or who makes it. What passes for a pasty up the line is far closer to a pie than it should be. <staunch "nationalism">

I'm about as English as it's possible to get.

I'm from England and descended from a long line of others from England; therefore I'm English. Why is it an awful word?

Because it's divisive for a lot of people. Not me, I don't care. But I do see the problems that the word causes.
