Any particular reason? Junior Alcoholics Anonymous? Personally I can go for years without a drink. I tend to keep my drinking to social occasions and nothing in between. I could be described as a binge alcoholic, even though do not drink enough to get drunk.

I will have at least 2 glasses of wine with sunday dinner. Depending on how my day's gone, I'll pick up a four pack of beer on the way home and drink those over the evening. Then maybe a glass of whisky on the way to bed.
I need to make some changes, I reckon.

I've been teetotal for a number of years now. Alcohol and I agree we just don't get along - it makes me very aggressive and getting into fights is not something I want to do.

I am lucky I do not get aggressive just silly, and crazy. Too many occasions climbing up lampposts to be sure.

I drink whisky...... But only on the odd occasion. I'd say once a month at most.

I was going to say, is that just some latent anger you have deeply suppressed, but one of my mates had a girlfriend that was absolutely vicious on alcohol. Jeckyll and Hyde [LIFTED] and she was diagnosed as being allergic to it. I've come to think of it as being like my attitude to depression, I've always thought, "oh come on, things aren't that bad", but on a couple of down days that I'd never previously had after rationalising it, I just realised that I was chemically down and I thought that if people feel like this every day, no wonder they top themselves. So maybe some of the people who are violent on booze aren't necessarily violent people. Just most of them!

never once been violent when drunk, although I said something one time to a couple that freaked them out big time and suggested I see a doc 99% of the time drink will turn me into an overly affectionate "teddy bear"

Me too most of the time, but if I'm with my "hard" mates, I can be a right twat.

I rarely drink, but I wouldn't say just special occasions.
I will have a drink or two a day on average on a holiday, and every now and again I might have one at home or with a meal, but the last time I had a drink was the 7th of this month- 1 pint of cider.

I voted 'Weekends Only' but usually go a few weeks without alcohol. When I do imbibe, it's 'usually' at weekends or on a Friday night once a month in which case 4 pints and I'm totalled. Weekend stuff is usually a glass of wine (Claret - Saturday) or a Bacardi and Coke (diet, caffene free or Coke Zero)..... go figure......
