I believe, in the rules as the current site has them, they would be listed as 'other'. Along with most things between minor public order offenses and mass genocide, apparently.

As to the site not including Scotland or Ireland, that's because they have independent justice systems. Different courts, probably different systems, different rules about disclosure. Given the cock up they made of getting the site live in the first place doing so while trying to link several disparate systems which don't even list offenses under the same names is asking for the moon on a stick. It's not the English police force's fault if the Scots police can't do it too.

And as for it being on the .UK domain, that may well be because there's no .ENG domain, however even if there was, they would probably be vilified if they used it.

I'm not particular fan of Johnny Plod but some of this is just bitching for the sake of it.

Jon

My local area:
All crime and ASB 397

Burglary 43
Anti-social behaviour 146
Robbery 8
Vehicle crime 23
Violent crime 75
Other crime 102

And I though it was a quite nice area
but its better than this area
All crime and ASB 1201

Burglary 56
Anti-social behaviour 386
Robbery 17
Vehicle crime 88
Violent crime 229
Other crime 425

Portsmouth city centre.. a dangerous place to be

why not have it police.gov.uk. That would have made sense. I can appreciate the issues re Scotland and NI. Though will local systems be available for there eventually?

Not bad at all. ASB could be anything and when you realise how the Government decides what falls in to what crime category it's better still.

For example, being stared at in a salacious manner or being spat at would fall into the category of 'Violent Crime'.... Oh scary....

3 Burglary
6 ASB
5 Other

That seems like a lot for just one month in a village of 6 people, 4 sheep and 9000 cats :?

Although, surely having 6 ASBs when there are 6 people means everyone has reported everyone else....
