It’s in fairly good nick considering its age. It may get another good clean now I know it works.

My rather grand plan is to build wall mounted display cases for them and turn the house into a little museum. I suspect that Management will override this idea.

That's an option, I guess. Not sure I need one, though. There's just me getting email in this house. :|

I thought you’d like this image from the Acorn Electron manual:

This is how you used to set up computers.

I've got an Apple Mac 512k motherboard and an Apple II motherboard that I'm planning to put in display cases. :)

Some of you will probably already have seen this, but Digital Retro by Gordon Laing is an interesting pictorial overview of the computer scene of the 80's.

Archimedes? RISC PC? I know the Archimedes series were very popular. The BBC Model Bs were pretty much ubiquitous in schools.

I've seen that book. It looms interesting. I may end up with a copy.

Just had a quick look. May need to wait until I get a bigger house and have a dedicated gaming room/library. :)

HA the problem with a bigger house is that SWMBO just fuills the extra space with more of her @*&£$

think the only wa y I will get a room I can fill with my @*&£$ is if a get a good sized shed at the bottom of the garden and fit it out with power, & Broadband - one day :D

True. I was thinking of a kitted out cellar actually, the GF likes natural light so she'd probably avoid going in. :)
