The thing about IM, is that I'm usually doing something else on the computer.
I do have FB chat open, but tbh, it's more of a distraction than much else. There's about 3 people who use it, and things are often left unfinished or cut off mid conversation due to having to get on with real life stuff.
So it's not ideal.
I'm only posting in here while I wait for a DVD to finish burning, for instance. Then I'm off out.

Oh well, nevermind then! One less thing to sort out before I go. It all started because of Skype. Except I wanted to be clever and talk to other protocols as well. I'm not really into video calling. I'd much rather see someone in real life, or just talk on the phone or via a computer.
