I've been using the RC for a while now on a spare machine. I didn't like the Chromishness, like I don't really like Chrome, but it is slowly growing on me. IE 9 has a very similar look now.
They are all becoming much of a muchness.
Performance wise, there is also not much between Safari, Chrome, IE and Firefox. The only thing that keeps me using Firefox as my main browser is NoScript. If there was a usable equivalent on IE or Chrome, I'd probably not use any browser in preference to another.

I'm assuming it's like that on mine as I upgraded from a 3.5 install. I certainly haven't reenables anything. +1 on NoScript being awesome. Though I'd still use FF without it.

Just noticed another little curiosity.
In the "Awesome Bar", if you already have a tab already open at a specific site, then in the drop down box you can no longer open another tab at that site, instead you get the option to "Switch to Tab".
Whilst i'm sure this is to stop people from accidently opening duplicate tabs, i find it rather annoying since on some sites where i'd want to compare something, i open up multiple tabs to the site in advance and then browse each tab individually. This way i have to browse and then open a new tab.

I stopped using FF when it hit v3. 2.5 was wonderful, then it got slow and clunky (app did, not sites)
I might give FF4 a go though.

It’s horrible. For MAc Owners, right click over the tool bar. The Tabs on Top option is there.

Yet there are only two themes for v4 and both are crap. I miss Noia Extreme 2.0

Better to go and choose the one you want rather than bloating up the install file with useless junk.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Same here. If it wasn't for security issues I could have still been using it.

Hmmm, think I'll test it on my netbook first... What's the good word on it's speed?

Couldn't really comment at the moment as this home network has been sluggish for a while now. With that in mind it is taking a while to get used to the progress bar having disappeared; to be replaced with a spinning icon in the tab that indicates request/receipt but provides no information apart from that.

Can't tell you as I'm using a very slow internet connection on a rig at the moment.

What, no progress bar at the bottom of the screen? If so, wouldn't there be an option to bring it back somewhere?

I'll have another look. Was looking at v4-specific ones. There are loads for 3.2 and 3.6.
