Think I'm pretty much there now; I've used Jim's template and the suggestion of an A4 sheet with large bold bullet point reminders.

Just need to practice when alone…..

Might I suggest you practice in front of someone? I've always found it a help to hone the act.

Why not do it as powerpoint presentation?

Cheers for all the help forum buddies

Wedding was on Saturday and speech went well, luckily for me my new stag weekend buddies cheered when I stood up and gave me loads of support throughout the speech which made it easier.

Kept it nice and simple but effective as it made both my sisters (one getting married and my older sister) and my mum cry (don’t think it out of embarrassment…. :lol: )

Didn’t drink too much before hand unlike the best man who was hammered by the time he stood up but it just made is speech funnier so all in all a good day was had by all.
