The Apple Store: doing things… differently

If you want something quickly and know what you want you can still get it in an Apple store. They are more suited to converting users to macs so you cannot do the hard sell. Hence the laid back attitude.

I think that they are helped by the fact that their products are all highly desirable and market leaders. Even other electronic retailers are struggling to sell as well. I think that might be down to people haggling or looking around for bargains. With Apple not discounting and not really needing to they can convert shoppers into customers much more easily.
