You want to join up and start producing lead-lined time capsules? Only £999.99 Paypal and bank transfers not accepted - only gems, precious metals and canned food. [edit] Oh, and bring Bratty, we may need some weapons to defend ourselves in the coming apocalypse.

Photos. DVD's and CD's can be re-ripped, office files are backed up on optical CD's etc.

OP was talking about a hypothetical situation.
In which case, I'm not sure what'd be worth saving. All of my notes can be replaced. Recorded music would be non-existent. Photos, if I had the chance to print them out, would be worthwhile.
I do sometimes wonder how society would cope if all electricity and electronics went out.

Was going to say that - vinyl will survive the electromagnetic alien apocalypse Re-writable CDs and DVDs can't even survive normal direct sunlight for very long.

In which case I am completely screwed. I use computers and electronic devices to keep track of everything. To print out everything would take so long, that I would still be trying to work out what to save, by printing out.
