The laptop suggestion was from personal experience. It was a great way to end the day. Been watching friends tackle the hill at the Bude Downhill Classic, some beer, then back to the tent for a movie. Result!

We're going to buy a footprint ground sheet, just in case.

I've already decided to take a laptop, in the hope that a Scooby doo dvd will quiet the little blighters if it tips it down one day. Failing that, I do have a tent mallet.
