It was a gold one

Ah, I could've gone for that (not sure how much it was) but £315 was for a metal base with a porcelain cap (i.e. tooth coloured).

Gf's big filling broke yesterday. She has an emergency appointment on Monday, will probably have to have a crown.

I feel my savings shrinking again...
