Whilst we are on the subject of people not being the first at something, I doubt you are first to be forum grandad telling people what they can and can't post.

Frank, we leave that kind of talk to the Admins.

Sometimes though, they just make everything sticky!

I have done a mouse foot kill. Walking into the bathroom without concentrating to feel a squashy sensation at the same time a abrupt squeak. Looking down one dead mouse!!

The guy posted something which I thought was quite interesting as I only see Moths for a split second as they dance across the screen at night. I don't see why people are self appointing themselves are mods and telling people where they should have posted. If its correct that the Moth thing should be in ramdon [LIFTED], then the whole of this forum should be too, stop calling it the meeting place and call it the random [LIFTED] place.

I agree though. Nothing wrong with posting a new thread if you ask me.

I know that you're only dicking about and if you noticed the smilies at the end of my post you'd realise that I wasn't being serious either, (even though it should have gone into the random thread)

;) :) :etc: <-- Look! Smilies to indicate the jovial nature of this post!

Are you now saying that your post should have gone into the random thread or just the smilies at the end ? :?

I am saying that:

1. It could/should have gone into the random thread
2. The smilies were to indicate that I was pointing it out in a "taking the mickey out of another long term forum member in a non-"self appointed moderator, I'm just having a laugh at your expense" type way.
3. The original reply from the O.P indicated that he "got" the nature of my post.
4. I really don't appreciate the way that this thread is going and I don't appreciate you calling me a self appointed mod. Or grandad ;)

I've told my eldest that if she even thinks about making me a (step) grandad I'll have her sent to a nunnery!

Until she is 35

Yup, I've had the exact same conversation with my step daughter and her boyfriend (who was a bit shocked when I mentioned castration to him whilst gripping my fist together in the squashing your balls motion) :D
