Nothing's that important that it can't wait for me.

I waited for the first 24" iMac to be launched, but I think I still waited a couple of weeks after launch, until I bought it.

The same with the iPhone 3GS, I got that a couple of months after release.

My Sensation I bought about 4 months after release for a good discount.

Some games I've bought on day of release - BF3, Mass Effect 3, MW2, Flashback on the Mega Drive, etc. Also a few movies but I can't remember which ones now. I don't think I've bought a console on release tbh.

I use to await eagerly for the next installment in the C&C universe but after C&C 4 that stopped.

The only game I have ordered to arrive on release day is Borderlands 2, mainly because it's a pretty much purely online game which me & some friends will be playing through together.

I got the first one too on pre-order as it looked like a sleeper :)

This time my pre-order was honoured from Argos at £18 for the xbox version :D (so I got 2 to take advantage of a trade in offer or to sell on, kindof wish I also got Forza Horizon now though)
