Actually, I'm not sure anything they said was
actually inaccurate (unlike the BBC when it comes to technology, but anyway). It was very mean-spirited and practically a tantrum in electrons but everything they said was true, IIRC. The judge patently (and rightly) decided they complied with the gist but not the intent of the order and told them to go do it properly.
I did like the bit where Apple complained it would take them two weeks to change and the judge said he'd go for that only if they got a letter signed in person by the head of Apple UK explaining why it was the case. I'd imagine whoever is head of Apple UK wasn't very willing to stick his own head in that particular judicial noose..
