^^^We always had a week after the exams to get the results, and then wait another few days before moving out. It was easier to pack in the first year of uni - didn't have much (clothes, bedding, books, CD player and CDs, plus a few bits'n'bobs). It would all fit in the parents' saloon car and still have space for three vehicle occupants.
I've now made two trips in a large hatchback and still haven't cleared everything out! Amazing how much you collect over eight years!

It is amazing how many jobs end up not being necessary if you just put off doing them for a while.
