When I'm out it's usually Whisky with nothing else. No ice/coke, etc.

At home it's mainly tea these days, as you can guarantee that if I have a drink I'll get a call from one of the kids, asking to be collected

I try to drink real ales where possible, but will also drink the mass-produced lagers.

I like wine (red and white) but it's a bit poncey on a night out with my male friends, so only have it at family outings. Shots/spirits are fine, but I only have them if someone else is paying.

Depends. Usually a glass of wine at home with a meal. I'm about to have a glass of sherry before lunch. Occasionally a whisky at night if it's been a bad day.
Out, beer of any variety. Ales, lager, stout. I really don't mind. I've not found a beer I don't like, although Carlsberg and Carling are low on the list. But they're usually the cheapest on offer. I quite like a glass of Tribute.
Spirits, yes please. Vodka with a mixer, whisky I can go either way with. Jack n Coke is the usual. Absinthe - it's been a while, but leave the angostura, a sugar cube, a tea spoon and a lighter, because it's fun. Haven't had any calvados in a while, but that's good too.
Worst spirit I've tried was some prune based stuff from Romania. Evil.

The Becks was £3.40 a pint in a normal pub, but Carling is so low down my list I couldn't bring myself to drink it - especially on pay day

The Reds usually have some in their "mobile drinks cupboard". It's very nice to have for a change, but I don't think I've ever bought it.

In Tunisia they do a drink called Buka which is distilled from figs. It tastes like white rum with figs in. It's very nice, but I've not had any for over 20 years :(

I wish it was legal to distil your own, because I'd so be making weird toxic shiz from strange fruits. I'm sure a figgy prune spirit would be good for the digestion

I'm currently drinking ginger beer.

*hic*

If any of the real ale fans are ever in Cornwall, get hold of a "Betty Stogs", it is the nectar of gods. :)

EDIT: Or a Tribute.

I maybe have a drink once every 6 months or so, or at events, but when I do it is usually Brains SA or Brains Smooth!

Does he mind? ;)

I haven't tippled seriously since Christmas. I took a decision to leave it out, and generally feel better for it.

Currently it's Ocean Spray cranberry juice, chilled, with my evening meal. I am partial to a good full-bodied red wine (when I do partake). I don't say no to a really good scrumpy cider. We had some down Debon way a few years ago - on draft, chilled and a full brimming pint. Made for an interesting walk back to the B&B.

Otherwise I run on unleaded tea, with the occasional nuclear-grade coffee.

I know that not all of you will believe me but working here in the summer I get thru about 6/7 liters of water a day plus lots of tea and coffee from clients ,yes ok I probably drink a few beers here and there as well but only if i am not working later .Except if i am doing repair installs and or data recovery . ;) ;) ;) ;)

Cider and I are not a happy partnership. Creeps up on me all too fast for my liking.

There is not much I won't drink.

Most often though it is a Guinness these days.

I prefer a good beer/ale. These are my current favourites, Adnam's Broadside and Gunhill. None in the house unfortunately :(

I've taken my own advice and bought some locally made ales to drink. I've got a Betty Stog, a Tribute, a Doom Bar and an Admiral's Ale. I'll report back ;).
