If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

That's not that many... a quick look at how many cups of tea / coffee I've drunk: To make the maths easier, we'll assume I started drinking tea and coffee at the age of 15. I was younger, but it makes the maths easier, although the actual result would be higher. I'm now 45, so that's 30 years * 365 days +7 leap year extra days = 10,957 Multiply that by 10 cuppas a day. When I was a professional programmer it was usually double that but again, it makes the maths easier. 10,957 * 10 = 109,570 109,570 cuppas!Makes ernie's 30,000 cans of coke seem a bit lightweight, doesn't it?

Assuming a 2.5p value of electricty for boiling a full kettle. If you used just enough water for one cup per boil. To make those teas, it has cost you/the bill payer for the electricity roughly £1,300. In addition to roughly £2,054 worth of tea bags assuming a price of £1.50 for 80. Then you have the water and electricity costs for the tea/washing mugs.

Maths is cool lol I must say, however, that a good percentage of those cups would have come from work machines or at least have been made at work at no cost to me Sent from my big ass Sony Xperia Z Ultra tabphonelet, using Tapatalk 4.
