There are some shows I watch as they come out but if it's something I really like, like Dexter or Breaking Bad, then I will save them and sometimes watch 6 in one go so a bit of both.

I don’t binge watch. That way lies madness. I tend to watch a set at the rate of one episode a day. Right now, I’m into the last discs of BSG - and I’d say that I would lose details if I just sat and watched them all in one go.

Yes. And by this, I mean the rebooted series.

When going through a box set, I might watch two episodes at a time but that's it. I watched the first two series of 24 four or five at a time and all it did was bring out the absurdity of it all.

It's true, some shows don't suit it at all.

Binge. Always. And I don't stop at TV shows - I can't really watch a movie franchise (at least those with continuing narratives) in parts either. Somehow finding the time is never an issue. :?

Binge, mainly because of my work pattern.
I don't get set free nights every week, so invariably I miss episodes of shows, that I then have to find time for when I'm off, inturrupting other shows I'm watching.
I like to try and Watch Doctor Who as it's broadcast, even when I miss episodes of it due to work, I'll always try and make time for it.
There's no other show that I feel strongly enough about to actually watch as it's broadcast (or as near to broadcast as is possible).
I've just finished motoring my way through all 96 episodes of Dexter. (8+)
Next will be American Horror Story, followed by S3 of Person of Interest, after which I think I'll start Californication.

My girlfriend constantly wants to binge, but I like to savour. TV wasn't designed for binging. You miss too much detail. Especially in good shows like The Wire, BSG, Breaking Bad etc.
