That looks wonderful. I could spend hours fiddling with that.

Very first quick shot in standard mode I took just to test the zoom - quite detailed and it scales well when messing about with the image. Considering I was aiming up from ground level and that rig is half way down the harbour, it's not bad at all (I've also been lazy and ran it though Imgur for posting purposes) Every mode I've tested so far has been great

My 7 year-old camera still looks brand new. I *may* think of upgrading when it gets to 10 years old, but only if there's another model that I really want - which there isn't yet. Mark

Snap it up! , no seriously, I'm well pleased with it. If you've any questions I'll try to answer them. Even the rubbish batteries they pack in with cameras lasted days, and that was with Mr Novice here taking multiple pictures of just about everything and endlessly messing about with the zoom. Just don't go with the bags Argos sell, they're crap and overpriced, even an eBay job would be better.

Well i picked it up & am happy with it myself.i was concerned about no view finder but the fact that i need glasses on to read the screen info makes it a redundant requirement for me.Reading the screen is easier.I like the feel of the camera in the hand & am looking forward to getting some good use out of it. Yeah they did "offer" me the choise Just want to get some decent batteries for it maybe some lithium rechargeable.Have you used the software yet?Just wondering if it's any good? yours wecrookie

I've got some big capacity Duracells and a fast charger Didn't install the software IIRC, I generally find camera software to be pretty pointless. I'm not one for editing, and even if I was I'd be going third-party software-wise. I trust you got the camera in black?
