Um, you know the top car, why is the Citreon cut out from the bonnet gone all rusty? :S

Stupid basrstools these days. Good kick up the arse they want, right toward the jobcentre.

Cheap (probably chickenmesh) and not properly treated so the heat from the engine probably melted the prrotective coating off... or just cheap

You are indeed correct Dave. ;)

But then again the need for accuracy by those posting here seems to tail off exponentionally in the feverish excitement to point and laugh at other people and their choices. :x

Which makes me want to point and laugh at hypocrites. :D

I think it looks like ass
I know my car looks like ass, but at least I didn't pay x thousand £'s to make it look that way.... and let it get rusty :)

If I want a car that looks nice I'll spend a lot of money on it, but I don't look at it when driving (aside from instrument panel etc) so it really doesn't bother me.

I wonder how much rusty some of the engine will be from the rainwater getting in and doing that to the grill!

Has anyone reading this thread modified their car at all?

If they have then let's see some piccies!!

I quite like mods, but only the right ones, on the right car. I like the 'understated' type mods more than the 'vroooom look at me and my 1.x litre hatchback'.

I did my 306 but only small stuff like the interior & subtle outside mods (light brows etc). Not sure if I've got any pics though.

I think a good set of wheels, lowering the ride height and de-badging & de-wipering a little pug makes them look much better.

Completely de wipered?

Means when it's dirty you can't see all the people laughing at you for driving a pug ;)

Nope, my Mondeo was tricked out with all the mods Ford had in the book, when I bought it. 18" summer alloy wheels, 17" winter alloy wheels, xenon lights, tints, fog lights, sport suspension, alu roof rails etc.

Looks okay, not overstated.

I can't see the point in tricking out really. It generally looks worse than factory, unless you are investing more money than the car is worth - in which case, why don't you buy a better car to start with?

Only on the back of course. I doubt you'd see a teeny tiny version of them laughing in the rear view mirror after you've just unleashed the mighty power!!

Regardless of chosen naming conventions, wrongly used or not, that Citroën's bonnet is rubbish.
