Only if you let it. Sometimes you need to take a pragmatic approach. "There's nothing I can do about it, and I'm damned if I'm going to let something over which I have no control ruin my Christmas." sounds like a good attitude. Tbh I'm actually quite a bit happier now  Work was getting me down. So I have the opportunity now to do something different. I'm not in a hurry to find anything but if it comes down to it I'll be able to find something fairly quickly. All good at the moment.
