Well. Everything is sorted now. They've done it all by the book and I'm actually better off than I thought. Gives me a decent amount of time to explore different opportunities and stuff :-)

Good luck for the new year then. :D

That's good, nothing like stress to ruin a holiday!

Only if you let it. Sometimes you need to take a pragmatic approach. "There's nothing I can do about it, and I'm damned if I'm going to let something over which I have no control ruin my Christmas." sounds like a good attitude.

Don't get me wrong, it's a horrible situation to be in, and I've been there, but Olly's a clever lad, and he shouldn't have a problem finding something else to do.

If the oil price stays this low for any length of time I could be joining you on the job seekers pile.

Tbh I'm actually quite a bit happier now :-)

Work was getting me down. So I have the opportunity now to do something different.

I'm not in a hurry to find anything but if it comes down to it I'll be able to find something fairly quickly.

All good at the moment. :-)

I've only ever done it with a chicken so far, but if required I wouldn't have any problems doing it with other animals at all.
