Bollocks.

If you need time to wake up, get up earlier.
If you need more sleep to do that, go to bed earlier.

Our school had more lessons in the morning than in the afternoon. The theory being that after lunch people were just waiting to go home and didn't try as hard. They were about right in my opinion.

Totally agree

Unfortunately, biological reality doesn't agree

In the morning, your brain is more creative. By the afternoon it goes into a cycle which make more repetitive tasks easier, but can make creativity harder.

Personally, anything which means that the clock radio doesn't need to go off and have Chris Evans shouting at me gets my vote. I have little choice - the wife has to get up and she seems to like him.

Everyone should start at 11am and we should have a 4 - day week. Discuss.

I do much better in the morning than I do later in the afternoon/evening. If I could set my own hours I would work 7am-3pm every day with 15 minutes for lunch.
Red is terrible in the morning and does his best work after 8pm. If he could set his own hours he'd work from 1pm to 8pm every day.

Maybe as the world gets a grip on more flexible working locations and hours, we'll both get our own way.
