Wimp. I drove down from Glasgow for the last one. :P ;)

Just sleep in your car.

Last meetup involved a nice quiet chat outside a pub near Snowy, did end up messy towards the end.

Messy? it was fiiiiiiiine. Got back at a respectable 4am. Felt bright and breezy on the drive back up the following afternoon (not).

I've been considering another trip down to London this summer, as I have a few friends down there I've not seen in ages. I was thinking about combining it with my summer holiday in July, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it or not. I'd like to say, I will probably be able to manage any weekend in August.

oooh an excuse to go to the pub and have a diet coke ;)

Only an hour on the train from Southend to London, which is handy

just had a look at the train fares... it's just shy of £70 for a one-way... or just shy of £70 for a return [I think the return is slightly cheaper than the single]... which makes next to no sense... and this is with a railcard...

then there's getting from the station to whichever bar we're meeting at [assuming i can find it] which will involve the stupidly expensive yet supposedly 'brilliant' pubic transport in london...

as much as I'd like to meet you all... I cba with all that...

I know, I'm just lazy. I also have a car so its not like it would be difficult getting down! Maybe I'll have a little think.....
