I especially like this bit: It had never occurred to me that anyone would try to turn round a graphics card to see if it would fit in backwards. Where would the cables go? Very, very funny. I quite liked the 'your loopy/clapping' smiley as well. It's in entry 30/31.

I have actually had to resort to using the method with my graphics card, but that was more to do with the case (£11.99 of sheer quality) than the PCI-E slot, and I was very careful (ish)

I did... with a hammer and screwdriver, expanding the gap to get the VGA socket through the slot in the back plate  To get the damn thing in you have to take the motherboard out, plug the card into the slot (I DO know which one )and then try and wedge the thing downwards as well as sideways. It wont go sideways unless you've got one bit of metal in the downward slot, and vice versa  ...so I used the force.... Next time, something made by Coolermaster at least
