One of my friends went to see Wolverine at the weekend, here is her review:

Look! Shirtless Hugh Jackman! Manly men are manly with each other in a manly way. You thought you were only getting manly Hugh Jackman? No, my squeeful friends! You also get these other fine specimens of manliness! Try not to drool too much. Look! Shirtless Hugh Jackman! Much manliness and fighting ensue. Look! Naked Hugh Jackman! See Naked Hugh Jackman run! Run, Naked Hugh Jackman, run! Run like the wind! Stuff gets blown up. Vehicles are destroyed in a manly way. A few plot points get killed. Hugh Jackman dons the mostly manly fabric of all: leather. Then there is more manliness. Rar! Abs! Manly arms! Rar! More abs! And we end with... An orgy of manly men fighting each other in as many manly ways as they possibly can, while being manly. The scenery is chewed and destroyed. The plot is serviced. The men are manly. The drool is drooled. The end.

I don't know why they didn't just call it: "Hugh Jackman strips off and fights with other hot men". Because that's effectively what I paid for anyway. ;^)

I would go see it on the basis of this review alone :D

that has to be one of the funniest film reviews i've seen... also reminded me of this

Saw this last night ;) , and it was just a load of arse :(

I only watched it cos the sequel now has a good writer and therefore hope, but if the reviews are as bad for that as for this one I simply won't bother...

The film's so bad there are times when you are distracted by the state of Wolverine's hair in what's supposed to be a dramatic scene
