   | The poll's designed to allow you to change your vote (to allow for my own errors ). A Lego Mac's the only one I could justify spending money on, sadly _________________Plain English advice on everything money, purchase and service related:

   | The question is "Do you use both a Mac of some description and a PC?" so the option you talk of would be "Yes"._________________jonbwfc's law: "In any forum thread someone will, no matter what the subject, mention Firefly." When you're feeling too silly for x404, youRwired.net

   | I have a 13" (calm down ladies) MBP and a gaming PC. If I ever give up PC gaming, I'm going all Mac.

   | Mac about 99.9% of the time. I dip into Windows from time to time. Mind you, when I’m running Windows I’m still using my Mac because I’m using a virtual machine.

   | I use my Windows PC, and this PowerPC Powermac G4. The G4 is actually more responsive and feels faster than my 3.6ghz Pentium D machine! _________________ Kimmotalk is where all the cool people hang.

   | It's matt black Nope, I use a 4GHz i7 PC at home on a 24" screen & the macbook when I'm out as it's the best spec laptop I've got (barring the work one but that weights a ton).

   | I have a Windows PC that I built in June and I also have a 3 year old MacBook that I got from my wife's sister. She got my old laptop as she needed it for some Windows only software. _________________ My Flickr Page Now with added ball and chain.

   | Point of Order: PC = “Personal Computer” which is what a Mac is. Those witha ZX81 could be said to be using a PC.
Maybe we need an OS breakdown - Mac, Windows, Linux, Other, Traditional Food Construction?

   | Never owned a Mac, never used a Mac, never seen that I have any use for a Mac (simply because I'm a gamer and a PC tinkerer) AND
in my entire life, I can recall seeing three Macs- for real, that is. Two powerbooks- one used by a DJ for music and one in a Paris coffee shop; and an iMac on the shelf at Woolworths.

So that's a solid No, from me.

   | All mac at home. At work I use a a Dell Optiplex 280 SFF running XP in the office and various other machines in the labs.
I have nothing against XP. It's perfectly stable and usable.
I would however happily smash the 280 into little tiny bits. It's on it's third replacement fan unit and second power supply. If anything else goes then it's had it as Dell has stopped making parts and the supply of them has run out (well the IT department can't get hold of them anyway) due to the enormous failure rate of the machines.
