3 samsung hard drives, 2 MP3 players, 2 screens, 2 dvd drives, 1 phone, never any problems with any of them

oh actually one of the screens did have an issue with the on switch, but that was about 7 years after we bought it, and i was planning to replace it anyway

Yes.... you were messed about by Samsung but in the end you have a nice replacement screen. I won't ask for petrol money for the travelling to "you know where" but if you keep on bleating about it I might just rent out your room

If it's under a year old the seller has to deal with it (although it can be quicker to use a service centre or straight to the manufacturer).

The problem was that it was just over PC World's 1 year warranty, so when I took it to them them told me I'd have to get an engineer (most likely from Samsung) to do a report that said it was under two years old (despite me having a receipt that clearly showed when they had sold it to me...), so in the end I just went direct to Samsung.
