I'm hoping 2010 can't be worse than 2009! Having lost a large portion of my family this year...
Looking forward to 2010, I've just bought a house with my girlfriend and we start renovating today. She is very stressed, and with 2 girls going through the post-puberty hormone imbalance, it is a very difficult time at the moment.
Hopefully the money from my mum's estate will turn up in a week or so and the financial worries about renovating the house will go away.

What pile of [LIFTED] 2009 was eh? If it wasn't for getting engaged I'd have to pretend it didn't happen at all.
Roll on 2010 - let's hope the last one of the decade is better than the other nine.

You're finishing early but I quite agree with the forced cheers. I am in the same camp as rustybucket with my engagement to lift the rest of the crap year.
