I can vouch for my very confused french, american northern middle class accent :p

(also some yorkshire people say bot and bos and sorfar and lurds ;)

YORKSHIRE????????? How the hell did you come to that conclusion?

I have lived in London all my life for 41 years now.

My mother is from Belgium which last time I looked was next to France and nowhere near the north of England.

Oh the brattyisms that come out on this forum :roll:

I read the whole thread. His random chirpings about nothing always confuse and amuse me in equal meausre, and reassure myself that I do have a drop or two of sanity in my blood stream.

I had too but had not sussed the H thing was what led him to Yorkshire. Brain not quite in gear. Most amusing though.

Besides which, Yorkshire people don't say 'appy, they say 'appeh. Quite a lot of northern accents soften the tailing y. 'appen.
