I guess it's personal choices. AC/DC bores me to death. I enjoy a bit of Metallica. I do listen to Queen, Kansas and oldish French and German bands tho ( KMFDM, Indochine, Téléphone ...)

That's a pretty good selection for a 'Best Of...' though I'd add 'Landslide' from 'Flick Of The Switch.' Clicky

AC/DC To Celebrate Iron Man Movie At Download | | | | Quote: AC/DC have revealed plans for a spectacular performance at this summer’s Download Festival – but, contrary to rumour, it won’t include the band playing their legendary Back In Black album in its entirety.
Instead, to tie in with their involvement in the soon-to-be-released movie Iron Man 2, AC/DC are promising the Download crowd a mix of “super-charged boogie and super-heroic stunts,” according to band spokesman Don Heck.
AC/DC’s music will be featured in Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 2, the sequel to the 2008 blockbuster film.
In addition, Columbia Records will release the album AC/DC: Iron Man 2 on April 19.
AC/DC: Iron Man 2 features 15 classic AC/DC songs selected from 10 of the band’s studio albums, ranging from 1976 to 2008.
“So it seems logical to capitalise on our links with the Iron Man movie franchise at Download,” the spokesman continued. “Plus the proximity of East Midlands Airport to the festival site is an added bonus.”
While details of AC/DC’s precise plans for Download are sketchy at present, Classic Rock understands the band are exploring the possibility of having a fleet of so-called ‘Iron Men’ wearing jet-packs descending from the sky and on to the stage at the climax of their set.
As many as 50 ‘Iron Men’ would lift off simultaneously from East Midlands Airport, wearing full comic-book costumes. The flight to the festival site is estimated to take a maximum of 10 minutes.
As it will be dark, the ‘Iron Men’ will light their way through the night-time sky by igniting powerful ‘chest beams’ on their costumes.
“It will be very dramatic to see an array of searchlights strafing the Download audience from the sky above,” said the spokesman.
“It will also be extremely authentic, because those of you familiar with the comics will know that Iron Man’s armour-plated uniform incorporates a powerful spotlight in the chest area.”
To add further drama to the occasion, AC/DC’s famous cannons will be placed on swivelling platforms around the Download arena. The cannons – firing blanks, obviously – will attempt to ‘shoot’ the ‘Iron Men’ from the sky as they try to land.
“I must stress this is not 100 per cent confirmed,” the spokesman concluded. “Obviously there are some serious health and safety issues to consider. But if anyone can pull it off, AC/DC can.”
AC/DC headline Download on Friday, June 11, with Rage Against the Machine topping the bill on the 12th and Aeromsmith the top attraction on the 13th. | | | | |
