Ok, it's about an organisation that can reprogramme people who have volunteered to work for them; the Dolls.
These people are programmed with entire, complete personalities with their own short comings, skills and abilities, dependant upon what the client has requested.
Then stuff happens.

It's awesome.

There are times when the programming brings other features with it other than those specified. For example, Echo gets programmed as a top FBI negotiator. However, asthma comes along fro the ride because that is part of the personality.

It’s one of those inventive ideas which you know you have seen before, but has been taken to an entirely new level.

Whilst I can see why ep 13 didn't air, I think it's a fantastic showcase - not only for Joss' genius, but for where the show could go. It was a total game changer and I'm very excited to see what direction season 2 takes.

Paul, did you see it yet? Mark?

Quite serendipitously I've just left the living room where myself and Geekette just watched the final two episodes of season one.
How about that for good timing?!?
This (the final ep.) was the episode that was made on a relative shoestring budget because it hadn't yet been confirmed if the second season was going to be given the go-ahead.
Ironically it was this episode that swung it for the studio.
It was originally made for a direct to DVD 'extra' on the box-set to help bolster sales, but now that season 2's happening I'm not sure if the final ep. will air in the States, or if it has yet.

Still, cracking show and I'm looking forward to more.

Mark

Well, so far (2 episodes) so good :D

I can't remember where I've seen the white cop before though.

And the clever dude with the computer is familiar also.
