Concentrating music

Most people in the office have MP3 players blaring music through headphones all day long. It is damned annoying!

Me? I like total silence when working / concentrating.

I tend to Sigur Rós-ify pre exams, and just run through things in my head. I'll listen to plenty of things when actually working, but sometimes dead silence is just what I need. Not that I ever get that in our house...

I try to find concentrating music, I really did. From rock to pop to instrumental. SIlence ends up being the best.

I've heard baroque's music supposed to be the best for concentration, but I end up humming to it and immediately space out. So my headphones are just used as earmuffs.
