I'm often told they're crap, but I disagree. I love savoury pancakes. Cheese, bacon, tomato, basil, various pickles and salads, grated carrot, olives, garlic yoghurt, left over curry, fish, chips, mushy peas and of course chilli sauce. For sweet, I like them with fruit and syrup. Banoffee style is most excellent. Yup I wrap Beef in them before the pastry for a Beef Wellington.

I've tried various (sweet) pancakes but nothing beats sugar and lemon.

I had them the dutch way recently...... heated with golden syrup so it went all runny mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
