Mid-March holds a very close friend/partners' birthday.. Buggered if I know what I'm getting for her. So I'm quite happy to let March put itself off until I have even a vague idea. :-/

It's my birthday in March, too.

I don't think I'm getting the present I'd really like, despite some very pointed and specific hints in that direction.

That's probably because men don't understand hints... Unless they are really subtle such as printing out a full A3 picture of whatever you want with the words "I would like this for my birthday" printed on the top in 144 point text, and leaving it in a prominent place, such as stapled to their foreheads...

I will have to use that in future because I am so forgetful.

Oh, he knows what I want. It probably just won't be purchased, gift-wrapped and hidden at the back of the wardrobe.

That's the trouble with luxury items when money's a bit tight.

Oh aye! I'll try and stay awake more this time. And charge my batteries.
And have your tripod? And be in the 'zone'?
Any news yet on the Saturday evening?

Mark

March will largely be the same as all the preceding months to me. I will still be bitter and wanting more out of life.

However, I'm off to Barcelona on the 24th and that is worth looking forward to. Never been and doing some research into moving there.

Tripod has been brought from the Midlands.

I'll be in Bath, at the very least.

Train tickets are booked. I guess I'll be able to do one evening with you lot and one with t'other lot, unless anyone has any objections...

Yeah, this one is going to sting in that respect. After I've finished bribing the letting agency to not put my head on a spike outside their office, I'll have enough money left for food. For one day. For a mouse. On a diet.

O HAI THAR CREDIT CARD! >.<

T'other dude'll not be really taking snaps on the Friday evening, so I'd be inclined to go for the selfish option and say accompany me and then I'll do Sat. with him, but would that then mean you wouldn't get to see t'other dude at all or are you free Sat. afternoon?

Saturday afternoon I will probably miss partially, as I would imagine I'll be watching some rugby at some point with The FrenchUn.

Either way, I'll be free at some point on Saturday afternoon.

I can wait for March. If it's March then the deadline for my dissertation is looming nearer, with some unavoidable delays I'd be very grateful if time slipped and we had February again...
