You may like to pay out of courtesy...Though I'm sure I watching something or reading something, and people seemed to conclude that it's ok nowadays for each to pay half of the bill...

Ooh spliting the bill on the first date could be uncomfortable, I would advise full payment ;)

Just quietly pay if you can. If she says she'll pay though let her.

It's still a date.

Don't offer to pay in full, but if she insists on paying let her leave a tip or go dutch

Ja, Wees boen de auto? (my dutch is a bit flaky)

'going dutch' means you each pay half

A date as in you are going out together, alone... that is it.

Yes. Don’t confuse it with Dutch Ovens.

Isn't that farting in bed? Not that I would know, because it's been a long time since I shared a bed with a woman (overnight, at least).

Bratty, pay up. End of. First date. Besides half each is hassle. Much better to pay alternate times once things are established.

Angelic, was that the one who was seeing that other guy, when you "interrupted"?

Because you fancy her, don't you?

She might like you too, and spending time together is a good way to find out if she does or not. This is called a date.
