No, I think it just requires someone to make a decision! My current plan is to meet up with my sister in Borough Market for lunch on the Saturday, but I should then be free in the afternoon for a swift one or three, but my train leaves at just after 6, so I cannot stay around too late.

Make the decision then. I'm always around, Alun should be around during the week, Snowy lives in London as well, Davros lives in Peterborough so can do weekends.

If that's the case, I'm going to say the Friday evening, mostly because it would be really nice to not be checking my watch / missing the train home.
More than happy to start with food or go straight to a pub. I'll probably have my two brothers in tow, and as one is still 17 pubs are probably the limit, but that still leaves plenty of potential.
I'm more than happy to defer the choice of drinking / eating establishment to those in the know, as my knowledge of London establishments is limited to about two restaurants, and I cannot remember where one of them was!

He's back AFAIK I'm happy wherever. I live in Kingston (25 mins from Waterloo by train), I know a few good bars in Ealing (central, district & Picadilly lines) with live music as well, Snowy is the best bet for London bars (but they'll be more trouble with ID & dresscode I expect)

Dresscode?!?! Goodness gracious, not been in anywhere requiring a dresscode in a very long time  . I'm more of a pub and conversation person, especially as it'll be the first time I've met anyone there.

In that case either the usual meetup place in Farringdon or Finnigans in Ealing would be good (has music but also a quiet bit & outside)
