I will see what I can do to avoid it. I am not that bothered either way. I would wish any of the home teams whomever is in the tournament well, regardless of whom it is.

Yes apparently there will be a Football competition this year in South Africa. I have just been listening to a podcast about the construction of the stadiums. Can we add Wimbledon to this thread?
In any case, I have just had a week off. When I get back to work I find that the lab has acquired a digital radio (as MW reception on ye olde lab radio is pants) which is tuned to talkSport. Argh! I wasn't that bothered about Radio 1 being on all day but talk radio about the worl cup all afternoon did my head in and I was only in there for about 60 minutes in total.

Don't worry about it....isn't the world supposed to come to an end in 2012? I hope it's before the Olympics and not after
