I did once reply to one (from a junk email account) giving my phone number as the National Fraud Hotline. I never found out what happened, but I would like to think there was a hilarious moment when some scammer phoned them up to ask for their bank details

 The scary thing is that this didn't get blocked by my SPAM filters....That's Googles Gmail filter and Apple Mail's filter...
