Well, I notice that news has returned this morning, trouble is it's all mixed up with other articles so you can't easily see what's news and what's opinion-based articles - all in all, a bit of a mess for usability. If they're not going to add a "News" button at the top, at least have some kind of filter option that only shows legitimate News articles.
This did make me chuckle though...
I did a little test yesterday to see if the old news articles were still on the server, so went into "Comments" and found a news story, clicked the "read full story" link and got a 404... but not any old 404, this...

Gnarly, dude!! I mean, c'mon - that's just a bit w@nk isn't it? I'm going to suggest they add a x404 logo in there with a link to this site! Much more professional over here.
Apparently, according to Paul, one of their publishers on the new site...
The golden rule of any new website is "TEST, TEST, TEST" and then "TEST SOME MORE". A shame they didn't seem to bother!!
Like I said, this looks like a rush job. I'm also surprised they're using an off-the-shelf Wordpress template for the new site, is that a normal thing to do for such a mainstream website?
It all seems a bit amateur to me.
