The Police are entirely useless TBH. And yes, it's the parking that really frustrates me. The Police say all they can do is telephone the owner and ask them to move it. They also state that I am free to remove the car from my property, but if I damage it then the Police may prosecute. Thanks for the suggestions, someone else has recommended putting a post there, and only putting it up after they have parked on the drive.

This is my view too. How does it actually cause any inconvenience at all?

Very, it looks like you are parking on a footpath.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

But in that case, some actual damage to your property has been done. Although quite why you're driving one of those, I don't know!

mightve been me in that driveway I use peoples driveways quite often to quickly turnaround, theres no harm in doing so and it doesn't cause any damage, to whinge about such a petty thing would be the laughing stock of africa as people are starving there etc and they would be rather disgusted that all foreign people in this island have to complain about is using driveways to turnaround hell if I was an african id prob kill myself with laughter with hearing such a thing as it is ridiculous simple. some ugly old bag saw your car and borrowed your side mirror to check how she looked and *crack* forgetting she was so ugly that mirrors break on sight

My I recommend a police stinger? If they go on your drive, they get flat tyres. Simple.

I think that's pretty much the best attitude! Seriously, provided people aren't actually running over your kids or smashing into stuff when they reverse in your drive then it's just good karma to let them "invade your precious space" for a few seconds. You're doing them a favour. One day you might really need to turn on a narrow street and find yourself doing the same. There's a lot of things people in world have to worry about. You'd have to be pretty damned comfortable and bored to even have the time to let something so abstract have any impact on your life. An African guy I knew who wanted to work preserving endangered species ended up committing suicide, because none of his family or the folk in his village could understand why he wasn't more concerned about people dying. His death was a great loss, but a billion other people died the same year. They're all more important than some gravel. LOL As to what car it is; it's a blue car.

TBH I maybe wouldn't mind (that is the turning round, but the parking is another matter), but the fact is if you don't pull on to the correct part of the drive, then you damage the ground underneath. The pathway next to the front door is already giving way under the weight of vehicles who don't use the correct part of the drive.
