I would also say it is dependent on which part of the body is warmer. If you are driving a car, with the window open and the arm on the window is getting sun and the arm in the middle of the car is in shadow and cool, then the side of the body exposed to the excessive heat will sweat more?

I'm surprised that smoking is still present in many modern films. It does nothing for the stereotypes and situation that couldn't be produced in another way. I wonder sometimes if directors earn extra income from the manufacturers.

You'll find that most cigarettes used in films/TV series, especially US ones are fictional brands like Morley.

The fags'll still be proper ones though.

I would guess that tobacco is tobacco as any of the 'safe' alternatives I've seen and tried could never appear to be a real cigarette on film or TV.

One film where I liked the way the used cigarettes was the Fifth Element.

I've made a few of these in my time to confuse friends.

It depends if the actor/actress is a smoker, in which case they use a safe or herbal variety.

If a tree falls over in a forest, and there is no-one there to hear it, does it make a noise?

Why does Phillip have so many screwdrivers?

He doesn't. We've got them all here.

The only thing they have going for them are a lack of addiction to nicotine.

Depends how often your character smokes. Two twenty decks of cigs are hardly going to make anyone an addict in 3- 6 months of filming.

If a tree falls over in a forest, and there is no-one there to hear it, do the other trees laugh at it? :D

If a man is talking in a forest, and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?

No these are people on the train who can't be arsed to move down the carriage and get out of the way of the doors. It always happens on the home bound journey. Hardly anyone gets on at my station as I'm on the outskirts of London.

In which case, may I suggest developing the art of kicking them in the shins?
