Haven't seen it yet, but the A-Team should fit. As will The Expendables. Missed The Losers because this county is a [LIFTED] hole with no buying power for the studios. Although, technically that was a comic book movie anyway.

I'm hopeful the A-Team and Expendables will fit too :)

I saw a download of The Losers; it's a bit patchy overall, but still has enough charm to see it through. Unusually for these days, you're better off having not read the comics beforehand :geek:

Crank was a pretty silly action film too. Not subjected myself to Crank 2.

You should, it's even more insane.

Another vote for Shoot 'Em Up (also, probably most violent use of a carrot award and Bugs Bunny comeback as well).
Crank as well, another really good mindless action flick. Haven't seen Crank 2 but I gather it's properly mad as badgers.
I quite liked the Transporter films as well if you're after mainly action sequences.

So would that make jason Statham the master of good silly action flicks as he has been in enough of them?

I'd say he's certainly a strong contender. If I see his name attached to a film I'm fairly confident it will have amusing action but I'll probably have to check my brain in at the door rather than analyse the plot (if they've even bothered to have one more comprehensive than can be written in crayon on a bit of toilet paper).

A vote here for Death Race which Jason Statham stars in as Frankenstein, a kind of surgically restored Stig.

I do not mind such films as long as they are entertaining. Sometimes you want to give the brain a rest and these films are brilliant. Shame that the Oscars look down on such films.

+1

I love it.

The 13th Warrior - definitely silly (the acting is is a bit naff) - but some quality hack n slash in there too.

The A-Team's one big nod and a wink to the camera; it's just alright. Rent it if you're curious (I wouldn't bother rushing to the cinema), but the whole thing is edited like it's own trailer, if that makes sense... :(
