Then you're feeling sorry for me Alun. I make judgements all the time about people based a massive amount of information I collect from their language, posture, expression and behaviour, as well as what job they have, car, house, family arrangement, the gadgets they use and many, many more things. The iPad is certainly going to be for a certain demographic, broadly speaking. As a Skoda driver, I'm part of another broad church of people. These things are all useful bits of information to those trying to understand others. However, I wouldn't be so brash as this survey is to claim that I know everything about a person based on one piece of information. I could certainly make some assumptions however. IMHO it's important to remember the difference.

What do you drive, okenobi?
I'm toying with the idea of buying a Skoda Fabia diesel.

Fabia's a great car. Very well built, cheap to buy and run and comfy inside. The 1.4 derv is very economical. The 1.9 100ps derv is very quick and still pretty economical, but a lot rarer. Unfortunately, the vRS is still expensive, but a very good car.

Cool. I'd be lying if I said I could tell what model that is! I am really keen on the 1.4 diesel Fabia. When my current car needs replacing, that's what I will probably replace it with. They don't seem to be too common though, so I'll have to keep my eye out for a good one.

It's an Octavia vRS. The Fabia's a very sensible choice all round. 1.4 dervs are less available than the 1.2 and 1.4 petrol, but there should still be plenty around.

Veering slightly off topic, has anyone been watching the Amish teenager show? They don't have any of the material possessions we have yet they are balanced and extremely happy. Nuff said. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/amis ... -teenagers

I have been watching it and they do appear happy. However, they don't have all the facts, which I wouldn't like.

But they all get a year in the big wide world to decide if the lifestyle is for them. I've been enjoying the show and I like the way the British teenagers have been looking after them. Makes a change from all the doom and gloom on tele.
